Customs fees now apply for UK-EU shipments
Dear Customers, with new customs regulations post-Brexit, as from 1st of July 2021, many UK and EU customers are finding themselves hit by customs bills they weren’t expecting.
This is because all goods between the UK and the EU are now subject to customs clearance. Under zero tariff arrangements, duties are not payable on goods imported to the EU if their country of origin is the UK. However, VAT is due at a rate that depends on the country of import.
The standard service offered by international parcel delivery companies is Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU), which means that the receiver—the customer—is responsible for paying any applicable customs taxes and duties upon receipt of the goods.
Returns and Exchanges
All Basilur tea products are subject to availability. Where any Product turns out to be temporarily unavailable, we may offer a replacement Product to you. If you choose to refuse it you will be able, at your option, to either order another Product from our web site or cancel your order and claim a refund.
In the unlikely event that you are not satisfied with your purchase, please return it to us for an exchange within 30 days of purchase. We do not offer refunds on goods. We exchange any unused and undamaged items that are in their original condition and packaging with a copy of your original invoice.
Sale goods, opened tea and bespoke items are deemed as a final purchase and are therefore not returnable, exchangeable or refundable.
Damage or Cancellation
If you receive a Basilur tea Product which is faulty or damaged please notify us immediately by one of the methods specified in the Contact Us section below and return the relevant Product to us together with a brief explanation of the fault or damage. The receipt of the Product, we will examine it to see if it is faulty or damaged and we either credit you with an appropriate sum in respect of the Product or we shall (subject to availability) send you a replacement Product. This does not affect your statutory rights.
